Exalted By Love

Verse 1:
O my God, I come before you,
Bent and weary,
Full of guilt for what I've done,
Because I've fallen short of your glory,
Sentenced to die for my transgression.

But then I stand up and raise my eyes,
Lift my hands up to the skies,
Because Christ Jesus died for me,
And I know,
It's your mercy that sets me free!

Verse 2:
O my God, I come before you,
With needs and cares,
And lay them down at your throne,
As I go to my knees in prayer,
Because I know I can't make it alone.

But then I stand up and raise my eyes,
Lift my hands up to the skies,
Because I'm rich beyond compare,
And I know,
It's your grace that takes me there!

Verse 3:
O my God, I come before you,
Humbled and lowly,
With my face pressed to the ground,
Because I know you're awesome and holy,
Righteousness without bound.

But then I stand up and raise my eyes,
Lift my hands up to the skies,
Because I drink from your eternal cup,
And I know,
It's your love that lifts me up!
